A Documentary Series
Who Knew?
A documentary series for the curious.
Films
Stories from the margins, presented by a team of curious filmmakers
Each episode is built as a 25-30 minute documentary: researched, composed, and paced to welcome viewers into events they may never have been invited to understand.
George Michael Day
Every year, people gather in Goring-on-Thames to celebrate George Michael. The film follows the people who attend, organise, host and witness the day, asking why this quiet village has become connected with memory, music, affection and community.
It is not a George Michael biography. His life, career, Goring and Mill Cottage are included only where they help us understand the event, the place, and what the day means to the people who keep coming back.

About
Question-led documentaries that enter real worlds with care.
Who Knew begins with something specific and intriguing, then uses real people and real places to discover why it matters. The films aim for the clarity of strong factual storytelling and the atmosphere of documentary cinematography, without losing the natural pace, humour and texture of real life.
- Story firstEvery creative decision serves the story, then the people and place, before cinematography, music and style.
- Curiosity over certaintyThe crew should never feel like they have already decided the answer before filming begins.
- Crafted, not stagedBeautiful images are welcome when they help the audience feel the story, but real people should remain real people.
- Clarity with atmosphereEach film should move with pace and purpose while leaving room for quiet details, emotion and discovery.
